    1. Acceptance of terms

    By accessing or using CreditKaren ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

    2. What CreditKaren is

    CreditKaren is a free, AI-assisted tool that reviews uploaded consumer credit reports to identify potential inconsistencies and generate template dispute letters. CreditKaren is not a credit repair organization, credit bureau, lender, law firm, or financial advisor.

    3. Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements and that any credit report you upload belongs to you.

    4. No professional advice

    Content on the Service, including AI-generated analyses and template letters, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or credit-repair advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

    5. No guarantees

    We do not guarantee removal of any item from your credit report, the outcome of any dispute, any specific score change, or any other result. Accurate negative information generally cannot be removed through the dispute process.

    6. Acceptable use

    You agree not to:

    • Upload credit reports that are not your own.
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
    • Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
    • Submit false, misleading, or automated bulk requests.

    7. AI processing

    Uploaded PDFs are sent to third-party AI providers for analysis during your session and are not retained after the session ends. See our Privacy Policy for details.

    8. Third-party links and advertising

    The Service may display advertisements (including via Google AdSense) and link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices.

    9. Intellectual property

    All Service content, branding, and code is owned by CreditKaren or its licensors and is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

    10. Disclaimer of warranties

    The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

    11. Limitation of liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreditKaren and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or credit standing arising out of your use of the Service.

    12. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold CreditKaren harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

    13. Changes to these terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

    14. Governing law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. CreditKaren is operated from San Diego, California.
